This exceedingly Rare Antique Venetian Girandole is grandiose, and magnificently proportioned, the likes of which will plausibly not be seen again. Manufactured for the French export market, and tagged "Made in Venice", this outstanding piece is believed to be one of a handful ever produced, and was acquired from a private collector in Vienna who has owned it for some time. Its gold leaf gilded frame is hand made, hand finished, and hand beaded with rock crystal beads and garlands, its forged metal bobeches hanging amethest cut crystal beads, terminating in baccarat trapezium pendants. But perhaps this its most remarkably dramatic characteristic is the lower tier, embellished with commodious Baccarat faceted pendalogues, which have each just been professionally restored and polished. Other notable features include cut crystal starburst rosettes, amethest hand blown glass baubles, and of course its baccarat cut crystal finial, and its satellites of rock crystal beads. P.O.A
