2008
The first 8months of 2008 have been busy for both Vintage Glamour & Parisian Flair with magazine features & hires which have kept us on our toes, with the rest of the year looking to be just as busy . Here is a sneak preview of what we've been up to for the last 8months or so & what lies ahead so far....

*Featured- Saturdays Telegraph HOME lift out -August 8th *Co-Design (Brian Hoy Design) & Build Chandelier for Leona Edminstons New London Store opening end of October 2008 *Featured- October 15th - Finding France In Australia Book Available in All Good Bookstores & Online Watch this Space..... *Featured- 25th October Saturdays Sydney Morning Herald- Good Weekend - Working with Mirrors - Megan Morton Stylist *Featured - Real Living Xmas Issue 'Sydney Style Secrets' booklet- OUT Nov 3rd *Featured- Australian Country Style 25th Birthday Anniversary Issue "Best of the Best" shopping booklet - OUT Nov 2002-2007 We have been featured in many magazines, as have many of our chandeliers, furniture and decorator pieces; 'New Woman' magazine in a story with Katie Davenport, and 'Domain' in the 'Sydney Morning Herald' showcasing our store. Some of our furniture and vintage clothing items have been seen in CLEO magazine, where they were used for a StayFree ad, and most recently, our Louis Style chairs, a chandelier & a number of vintage wall lights featured in a TV commercial for Johnny Walker Scotch Whiskey, filmed at Fox Studios, which aired during the summer coverage of the cricket on channel nine, and a beautiful 8 light chandelier was feautured in Downtown Duty Free Sydney Airport, as a promotion for a new Johnny Walker Scotch Whiskey brand. We were also very fortunate to have sold a chandelier to non other than Ian Thorpe!!!! Imagine our surprise when he walked in through our doors. He purchased a gorgeous 13 light maria therese chandelier, just one of our many hand picked light fittings! It was definitely the highlight of 2005!!! 2006 has been a very exciting year for us with many newly opened retail stores turning to Vintage Glamour for their fitout needs; primarily lighting of course, but also furniture pieces. Our chandeliers and french chairs can be seen in the "Zambelli" Retail chain, namely in their stores in Woollahra & Balmain, "Master & Miss" in Woollahra, Tiaki Pilaties (pilaties and yoga studio on City rd Broadway), The Edinburgh Castle Hotel (294 Pitt St Sydney), Azar Fashion in Burwood NSW, Beauty Bliss in Balmain, Stanmore Fire Station owned By the Fenech Family APM (AUS) PTY LTD to name a few...with a few more in the works, im sure 2007 will be just as busy & eventful...
The first six months of 2007 have been an eventful period for Vintage Glamour, as well as Parisian Flair; with a multitude of prop hires for stylists including Real Living, New Woman, Country Home Ideas, David Jones (winter catalogue) & most recently the New Peter Alexander spring/summer catalogue (out soon). We've also overseen some prominent chandelier & furniture fit outs, including the recent upgrade of the Zambelli stores in the Strand Arcade. We were involved in the New Sunsilk Limited Edition Fashion Designer Range commercial (filmed at fox studio's) where 4 of our large czech crystal chandeliers were used, events at the Belvoir St Theatre, and perhaps the most exciting, a sponsorship promotion for Sisley Cosmetics, Paris, in conjuction with David Jones Elizabeth St store Sydney, on June 8th 2007.
