Specialising in chandeliers, "Vintage Glamour" offer a diverse selection of vintage and rare antique chandeliers which can be seen in our New Showroom at 72 Victoria Rd Drummoyne, mainly from France, Italy, Spain, Eastern Europe, and the middle east. Our antique furniture range consists of Original French and European armoires and beds, Louis chairs, French architectural pieces, as well as italian toleware & florentine furniture. This gallery of unique French & European treasures, has been a refreshing source of inspiration for many who visit the new showroom and allows Maritza & Paul to showcase their decorating talents and their passion for unique european chandeliers & antiques. Showcasing mainly french, italian & eastern european chandeliers, as well as antique french furniture, aubusson rugs, soft furnishings, garden elements, and decorator pieces. About the Owners: Owners of Vintage Glamour & Parisian Flair, Maritza & Paul, are a husband and wife team with 2 children, that have lived in the Marrickville area for over 10 years, slowly renovating their own home. Maritza & Paul have over 9 years practical experience in the field, but have always shared a love for European Antiques and Chandeliers! Their humble beginnings span back to 2002 when Maritza left the corporate world to pursue her dream to open the first Vintage Glamour store at 255 Enmore Rd Enmore, mainly dealing in chandeliers, restorer pieces, vintage furnishings and shabby chic items. In its first 18 months, this small but unique business was thriving, until a devastating fire ripped through the little shop, and everything was lost except their spirit to continue. 4 months later an opportunity for a new venue presented itself and Vintage Glamour opened its doors again just over the road at 238-240 Enmore Rd Enmore, however after years 7 years of hard work & dedication in the Enmore area & 2 shops later, Paul & Maritza decided it made sense to consolidate both shops into one larger showroom & hence Drummoyne was opened just over 6months ago in December 2009. This showroom would allow them to showcase their beautiful pieces in a much more relaxed & open space. It was a tough decision for them both but an opportunity presented itself and they haven't looked back. Paul's professional background was in the Social work / Welfare field, and after 7 years of service, and an Australian employee of the year nomination for his work with disadvantaged families and young people at risk, a sea change was what he needed, and together with Maritza they have grown their little business into what it is today. During the 8yrs that they have been in business, they have earned the reputation of leaders in the antique & vintage chandelier field, possessing a formidably diverse range of original chandeliers, to the likes of which have not been seen in sydney before. Their collection of unique French & European pieces has also generated much interest. Services we offer: Professional Lighting consultancy service.
